arrived at southend at 715 with phil(curly)lewin ,mike george and simon harris also arrived early as low tide was 8am. we all rigged and started the walk out to the ray
mike got to waters edge and realised he left his harness in his van , now its a good 15min walk out ,mike had a good warm up going back to get it :)
wind wasnt as windy as we all hoped for but it wasnt long until it picked up and soon we were getting 35 knot plus runs . mike scored a great pb mile run almost 37knot mile , well done mike
no pbs for me but a few runs over 37 knots
curly was doing well for his first time at the ray only to crash out and hole his sail
the tide soon came in and the smooth water of the ray soon became choppy ,game over
